Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Skilled and Unskilled Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in ALL ASPECTS of various construction tasks, ensuring that projects are completed safely and efficiently. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality work in a fast-paced environment.

GSRC is now seeking Roofers, Framers, Painters, Drywallers, Window and Door Installers, General Laborers, and Masons.

Responsibilities

Work, with or without, other skilled and/or unskilled tradespeople in the repair and/or construction of buildings and other structures.
Perform general labor tasks and SKILLED labor tasks, when applicable.
Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Maintain a clean and organized job site by removing debris and hazardous materials.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Load and unload materials from trucks or other vehicles.
Help with the setup and teardown of scaffolding, ladders, and other temporary structures.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time.

Qualifications

Previous experience in construction or a related field is PREFERRED, but not required.
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Must be able to work in various weather conditions.
